The
Real Talk Network
The Real Talk Network is a community-driven movement confronting the deep financial inequities that limit opportunity in Boston’s neighborhoods.
Born out of a partnership with the MIT Media Lab and now operating as an independent initiative, The Real Talk Network builds its work from the ground up, holding conversations with underserved residents about what matters most to them, forging connections across those conversations, and growing a network rooted in lived experience.
In 2026, guided by what those conversations have revealed, the Network is directing its focus toward closing the racial wealth gap and advancing financial well-being in the communities it serves
