Sports has been the centerpiece for over 25 years since its founding in response to the Carol Dimaiti Stuart tragedy in Mission Hill.   DTV has registered over 50,000 new voters and has been instrumental in changing the political landscape in Boston politics. DTV was also instrumental in advocating for early voting nearly 20 years ago.  DTV has partnered with Boston Praise Radio and TV and Boston Black News which has 31 media outlets internationally to bring its proven ground game to the social media space. This is an FCC-licensed, black-owned, church-based, internet, radio and TV station that is viewed across the country and the world.

“I am so happy to see professional athletes and entertainers exercise their vote and team up to promote civic engagement. In the past, DTV has had members of the Boston Celtics and Hip-Hop artists and rappers participate in its various activities.  It is so important for everyone to participate in the most important election in our lifetime.  DTV has declared voting as a public health emergency. www.dunkthevote2020.com.” Ron Bell, Dunk the Vote Founder
