Dear Friends, Supporters, and Partners,
I am writing to let you know that I will be taking a temporary leave of absence from my role as Founding Director of Dunk the Vote, effective October 23 through November 4, 2026.
During this period, I will be working on a national campaign. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important effort, and I wanted to communicate my plans directly to the friends, supporters, and partners who have stood with Dunk the Vote over the years.
Dunk the Vote’s commitment to civic engagement, voting rights, community education, and empowering our communities remains steadfast. This is a temporary leave, and I expect to resume my regular responsibilities on November 5, 2026.
Thank you for your understanding, your continued confidence, and your unwavering support of Dunk the Vote and our shared work. The relationships we have built together are deeply valued, and I look forward to continuing our work for an informed, engaged, and empowered community.
